Saffron Housing Trust is proud to announce that it has received two Highly Commended Awards at the East of England Energy Efficiency Awards, held on Thursday 21st May. The awards celebrate organisations and projects that demonstrate exceptional commitment to improving energy efficiency across the region.
Saffron Housing was shortlisted in two categories. The first, Regional Housing Association or Landlord of the Year, recognised the ongoing dedication to delivering energy efficient homes and sustainable improvements for tenants. Saffron Housing was delighted to receive a Highly Commended Award in this category, with Flagship taking first place.
The second nomination was for Regional Large-Scale Project of the Year, acknowledging the decarbonisation works at Marion Robert Court in Hethersett. Competing against several major tier one contractors, Saffron once again secured a Highly Commended Award, a testament to the quality, impact, and ambition of the project.
Representatives from Saffron attended the ceremony alongside our valued partners from CPH, Dodds Group, and 1st Choice Insulations.
Richard Egle, Carbon Reduction Manager, said: “We are extremely proud of this recognition. These awards highlight the strength of our partnerships and our commitment to delivering sustainable, energy efficient homes for our tenants.”
