On 27th August, Saffron Housing hosted a community event for the residents of Glenn Road and surrounding closes. The event gave residents the opportunity to meet Saffron Housing colleagues and partner organisations, ask questions about local services and share feedback on the issues that matter most. It also provided a chance for neighbours to connect and strengthen community relationships.
With a range of support and advice services in attendance, residents had the opportunity to chat to the Home Options Team from South Norfolk and Broadland Council to discussed housing options and support available in the local area.
The event also enabled residents to speak directly with Saffron Housing's repairs, grounds maintenance, and housing management teams, helping to address queries and concerns in a relaxed and informal setting.
As part of the day, RGM maintenance services assisted in the disposal of unwanted waste and goods, supporting efforts to keep the neighbourhood clean and tidy.
Refreshments were available throughout the day, including hot and cold drinks and a selection of cakes, pastries and biscuits.
The event formed part of Saffron Housing’s ongoing commitment to working closely with residents, listening to their feedback and supporting thriving, connected communities. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day a success!
