We are hosting a Tower Close Community Action Day on Friday 7th August from 10am - 2pm. The event will bring together residents, local services, and partner agencies - all working together to improve the local environment.

Skips will be provided to enable residents to dispose of bulky waste, alongside a coordinated litter-picking effort with equipment supplied. Partner agencies, including local police, environmental services, will attend to engage with residents, offer advice, and respond to concerns. 

So, whether you'd like to dispose of unwanted items, speak to or raise concerns with our partner agencies, or are interested in taking part in our community litter picking, come along and join us on 7th August from 9am-2pm!

Here's what's happening at a glance:

  • Skips available

    Skips will be available for Saffron Housing residents of Tower Close to dispose of bulky waste. Please no food, liquids or chemicals, hazardous items, mattresses, sofas, gas items (cookers), car tyres or  bike tyres!

  • Litter picking

    Co-ordinated litter-picking with equipment supplied.

  • Advice and support

    Saffron Housing alongside partner agencies, including local police and environmental services, will be on-hand to offer advice, answer questions and respond to concerns. Here's your chance to have your say!
