Help others do more online

We work with some fantastic volunteers who support our tenants to do more online. Volunteering is a great way to gain new skills and build confidence whilst helping others.

If you’re interested in giving up your time for the benefit of others please see our latest volunteering opportunities below.

Current volunteering opportunities:

Digital Buddies Logo finalAged 10-19? Volunteer as a Digital Buddy!

As a Digital Buddy you will be supported to help older people living in our sheltered housing schemes to learn how to use the internet and develop digital skills.

You don’t need to be an IT expert, just willing to help people discover all the great things they can do online!

We have a project running in Diss and we will soon be launching in Wymondham and Costessey too! Sessions will take place once a week for 2 hours and will launch in September/October 2017. You will receive training and refreshments will be provided at sessions.

Click here to find our more about the project or to express your interest in volunteering contact Sam Mason, MTM Youth Services on 07778896325 or email sam@mtmyouthservices.org.uk.

Norwich Digital Inclusion volunteers

If you live in the Norwich area you may be interested in volunteering as a Digital Inclusion volunteer.

Voluntary Norfolk is working in partnership with Norwich City Council to deliver a programme which will help make the internet and digital technology more accessible for local people.

Digital inclusion volunteers support people who are new to technology. They give people who may have never used a computer, tablet or other communication device the chance to learn something new. This support could involve activities like teaching a learner how to send an email, use a search engine, or fill out an online form.
