As Chief Executive Officer, James is responsible to the Board for the overall direction, leadership and performance of the organisation.
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004 with Larking Gowen, James joined the social housing sector in 2006 becoming a Finance Director in 2010.
James joined Saffron from Southern Housing Group, where he was a Board member and held Executive responsibility for Finance, IT, HR and Governance.
Executive Director of Finance and Development
Iain is responsible for Saffron’s Finance, Procurement, IT and Development. Iain trained with Deloitte in London before gaining international experience in their Toronto office.
He has worked at Director level for over 6 years and has experience of plcs, private companies and private equity backed businesses across a variety of industries.
Executive Director of Operations
Hannah is responsible for the operational management of Saffron housing which incorporates housing operations, asset management, the contact centre and the contact care elements of Saffron, she has 19 years’ experience across the public sector from a policing background through social services and lately within housing.
Previously Hannah was a director at Hanover housing association on a national level but has also worked for Flagship and Victory housing locally. Hannah has a strong background in housing and tenancy management. Hannah has a desire for continuous improvement always striving to offer the best service offer for customers and to strengthen and develop Saffron Housing Trust for the future.
