In March, together with our Customer Advisory Panel (CAP) we worked with Community Action Norfolk, who in partnership with the Big Energy Saving Network, to hold a series of ‘Utilities Roadshows’. We asked tenants to bring along a utility bills and we would see how much they could save.
The sessions were a great success and we were able to have a possible save of £6416 over 40 households! That’s an average of £160 per household.
“We’re keen to encourage everyone to look at their energy bills and see if they can save money” said Jon Clemo, Community Action Norfolk’s chief executive. “It’s easy to do, there’s no catch and it can save unnecessary expense, sometimes into 100s of pounds per household. And we’re especially pleased to be working with Saffron Housing who take such a genuine interest in the wellbeing of their residents.”
