Trevor Clark from Diss Job Club and Saffron's CAP is nominated for an award.
What a terrific thing it is to volunteer. Saffron Housing recognises and values how much support it gets from volunteers who are part of CAP, its Customer Advisory Panel, and is delighted that CAP member Trevor Clark has been nominated for a local award. Diss Express, in association with Voluntary Norfolk, run a Volunteer of the Year Award and Trevor has been nominated as he gives up much of his time to help his local community in Diss, South Norfolk.

Trevor was instrumental in starting the Diss Job Club which meets once a week in the Denny Centre in Diss. People can come and use the internet to check job adverts and fill in applications on line if necessary. Up to date information on local vacancies is available and local employment publications are there too. Tea and coffee are provided and there are volunteers on hand to help.
Well done Trevor for being nominated and Saffron is delighted that your volunteering contribution has been recognised. Thanks too from Saffron to all who volunteer to make things better for our tenants and local communities.
