The Dell

Set in a quiet and peaceful area in the village of Trowse, this sheltered scheme consists of 29 one bedroom bungalows. The post office and local shops are five minutes walk away. Norwich city centre is only a ten minute bus ride from the village.

The Dell Scheme is located in Trowse and consists of 29 one bedroom bungalows and is managed by a team of non-resident scheme managers. Each bungalow is fitted with a communication system which allows two-way speech between the manager and the resident. For emergency use, pull cords are fitted in every room in the bungalows and residents are also issued with an individual pendant. When the scheme manager is off duty, any emergency calls will be answered by an external call centre which is managed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our facilities include a large communal lounge which is furnished and available to all residents for social and recreational activities. Adjoining the lounge is a fully equipped kitchen available for residents to make light refreshments.

A residents social club hold regular social activities including:

Also Outings and Social evenings with entertainment are held throughout the year.

Situated nearby is Whitlingham Country Park, an ideal place for quiet walks.
