Ogden Close

Ogden Close and Standley Court are situated about 5 mins walk from Wymondham town we have a train station and a regular bus service in to Norwich.

Ogden Close scheme consists of 57 self-contained flats for single people and couples. It is a two-story building, with three lifts and eight stairways at various points around the building, surrounded by its own gardens that tenants can help maintain or just enjoy.

Flats are mostly one bedroom with the exception of two. All have separate lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Most bathrooms are fitted with a shower, shower seat, handrails and special non-slip flooring is also standard in both the bathrooms and kitchen.

The ground floor is taken up by the slightly bigger flats suitable for couples most single person flats are situated on the first floor.

All flats and communal areas are fitted with a communication system with pull cords which allow two way speech, when the manager is off duty or unavailable the call is answered by Invicta which is manned 24 hours a day.
We have a fully furnished guest room consisting of a twin room with on suite bathroom, which is available to rent short term to tenants' friends and family.We have two communal laundries with washing machines and tumble dryers

Our caretaker collects your household rubbish once a week from your bin store.

Ogden Close has its own licensed bar, a large and small common room, where we have activities such as twice weekly bingo, knit and natter, scrabble whist drive, fund raising events carpet bowls and entertainment throughout the year. We also have regular outings throughout the summer.

All tenants are welcome to participate in all social activities, suggest or organize some themselves there is however no compulsion to participate.
Saffron also leases part of Ogden Close, which is used by the NHS for as a Nursing Unit called Ogden Court.

We have regular visit from the library van, chiropodist and hairdressers and monthly communion for those who like to attend. We have doctor and dentist's surgery close by and a daily prescription delivery.

Standley Court.

Standley Court, which is at the back of Ogden Close, consists of 11 bungalows (9 two bedded bungalows and 2 one bedroom bungalows) and 2 flats 1 with two bedrooms 1 with one bedroom, all with their own gardens it also has it own communal laundry room. The tenants of Standley Court are all free to use any of the facilities at Ogden Close and have the same alarm system, which is linked in with Ogden close.
