Davy Place

Davy Place Scheme is located in Loddon. Loddon is a Norfolk broads market town and the towns River Chet attracts many holiday makers to this lovely area. It is very well placed to enjoy both the Fine City of Norwich (approx 10 miles) or the coastal town of Lowestoft (approx 17 miles), with a regular bus service running daily every 30mins between the two. The market town of Beccles (approx 6 miles) is also on the bus route. Direct bus travel to & from Gt. Yarmouth is also available although not every day.

The Davy Place Scheme is located in Loddon and consists of 28 one and two bed-room bungalows, and is managed by a team of non-resident scheme managers. Each unit is fitted with a communication system which allows two-way speech between the manager and the resident . For emergency use, pull cords are fitted in every room in the units and residents are also issued with an individual pendant. When the scheme manager is off duty, any emergency calls will be answered by an external call centre which is managed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our facilities include a large communal lounge which is furnished and available to all residents for social and recreational activities. Adjoining the lounge is a fully equipped kitchen available for residents to make light refreshments.

Laundry facilities are available and are free for residents use.

A furnished twin bedded guest room is available for visitors and relatives to rent for short periods at a small charge per night.
