Established in 2004 and operating from a head office in Long Stratton, just a short drive South of Norwich on the A140, we manage over 6,000 homes throughout East Anglia; see where these are located on the Saffron Property Map.

We provide a wide variety of houses and housing services, including Housing with Support and Housing with Care schemes for older or  vulnerable people, and our lifeline alarm service, Contact Care.

Saffron is a housing association regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing, there approach is to promote a viable, efficient and well-governed social housing sector able to deliver homes that meet a range of needs. Saffron is also an Industrial and Provident Society and an exempt charity, registered in England by the Financial Conduct Authority.

South Norfolk based Saffron Housing Trust is delighted to have received an Investors in People Gold Award. Saffron was last assessed three years ago and is delighted to have had its progress recognised.

The accreditation which looks at everything from business ethos to employee measurements, provides a framework for sustainable business success. However it is up to the business itself to create policies and display excellence in all areas to receive the accreditation, which ranges from Bronze through to Gold. Saffron’s policies aim to promote and nurture social responsibility, a culture of openness and develop its existing workforce to meet their demands and those of their tenants.

We aim to attract and recruit people of the highest calibre with the knowledge, skill and competence to perform effectively in their particular role and in so doing make a positive contribution to the success of Saffron.

We are able to offer exceptional career opportunities, competitive salaries and benefits, including flexible working hours for many office-based posts and a career average pension scheme.
