News update

26 Jul 2010

From the first of July, John Whitelock joined the Executive Team as Director of New Business taking on a new role combining the housing development side of Saffron Housing Trust with bringing in new services and opportunities. Some of our customers will know John as he has been with Saffron, initially with the supported housing team, since it started six years ago. He is looking forward to his new role and believes that Saffron is well placed to help develop new services for tenants and the wider community. Saffron is also delighted to welcome new Board members, South Norfolk Councillors Eloise Ellis and John Overton.

Contact Care Lifeline alarm service

Every single household today could benefit from a little extra reassurance, be in protection from personal injury, falls, burglary, fire, gas leaks or bogus callers.
Are you an older person who wants to remain independent in your own home, but worries about being a burden on your family or friends?

Do you have health problems?
Do you live or work alone, feel vulnerable?
Are you worried about bogus callers?
Are you a lone parent?
If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then read on.

WHAT IS THE CONTACT CARE LIFELINE?

Contact Care offers the complete personal reassurance solution, for the young and elderly alike. The service enables you to get help by pressing a single button. This automatically connects you to a fully trained operator who cares about your health and well-being at our 24 hour Response Centre. The operator will speak to you to find out what kind of help you need and act appropriately. If you are unable to speak, our operators are trained to send help immediately.

HOW DO I CALL FOR HELP?

Whenever you need assistance, anywhere in your home or garden, simply press your Lifeline personal response button. The lightweight and waterproof button is easy to wear. Help can also be summoned from the Lifeline home unit itself.

DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT?

No, the Lifeline unit is simply plugged into an electronic socket and existing telephone line. It only takes a few minutes to set up.

WHAT ELSE CAN MY LIFELINE BUTTON DO?

The great thing is you can answer your telephone without getting out of your chair and walking over to pick the phone up. Simply press your red button and talk to the caller from the comfort of your chair

WHY CHOOSE CONTACT CARE LIFELINE?
