Established in 2004 and operating from a head office in Long Stratton, just a short drive South of Norwich on the A140, we manage over 4,500 homes principally in South Norfolk.

We have properties in 106 communities and provide a wide variety of houses and housing services, including Sheltered Housing and Housing with Care schemes for older and other vulnerable people, and our community alarm service, Contact Care.

Saffron is a housing association registered with the Tenant Services authority, the government agency responsible for regulating housing association performance and for investing funds in new social housing. Saffron is also a registered charity.

After Saffron's first inspection by the Audit Commission in 2008 we were rated as 'two star and promising', which was an excellent achievement.  In 2009 we were delighted to be awarded the Investors in People Bronze Award and ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 accreditations.
